This pumper from the Friendship, NY fire department was purchased in 1881 at a cost of $3,000. Rebuilt in 1896 when it fell off a railroad flat car, it remains the pride of Friendship. It is coal fired and produces enough steam pressure to power at least 2 hoses at a time from any nearby [...]

Some 175 drivers are competing here at Walnut Hill, which equates to about 240 turnouts (carriage/whip combinations). And there is a record 300 stalls! Below is the Belle Grey Farms entry of pair minis heading home after the last obstacle on the outside course. – Jack
